The goal of education is to apply adopted knowledge to raising efficiency level of companies in the territory of the City, thus creating possibilities for new employments.   Preparation and implementation of entrepreneurs’ education programme   Educating entrepreneurs-beginners has the best effects because in the initial stages of implementation of their ideas they encounter a number of unknown matters and new situations, and at the same time, they make important business decisions. A well developed programme allows making quality decisions whereas in that way the entrepreneur reduces any other risk rather observable in the beginning.   Contents of training should provide entrepreneurs with answers to questions as to how to organise and distribute business, which segment of work they should engage in, etc. Topics to be covered with regard to entrepreneurs-beginners include the business start-up, drafting business and marketing plans, market research and the like. In the company’s growing and developing stage entrepreneurs will be allowed to participate at trainings in the field of their interest, primarily in the field of management, finances, import/export, and the like.   Special educational activities will be implemented in the fields where the City Development Agency has prepared and implemented development programmes. This primarily includes: Association of companies, New system of cooperatives, Instruments of local economic development of Banja Luka (technological parks, business incubators, credit and guarantee fund, incentive funds), Sustainable development and environmental protection, Rural development, development of small and medium-sized enterprises in agriculture and tourism.
